Smile Blow-up ring for Intex Pool solved!

We bought a 12 foot Intex above-ground pool and a feral cat walked around the blow-up ring and we just couldn't find all the holes. So my husband attached a small aquarium air pump and taped it in to the ring. Then he covered the pump with plastic and the pump only uses 2 watts of electricity. We always have a stand-up ring now despite the holes. He felt it was too strong so he ran 2 hoses into the air ring and one pumps and the other releases the excess air pressure. Something for you to consider? We really like the pool and were relieved not to buy another one (we had owned one that only lasted 2 years).

Our observation has been that the Easy-Set pools are simply not very durable, and fall prey to cats, birds and over-inflation.

Regarding leaks, you can find them using a paint brush and a dishsoap + water mixture.
