    Default Deteriorating Pool Wall

Hello and thank you for this helpful resource.

    My problem is:
My pool is 16x32 inground & probably 25 yrs old. Forgive me if I use the wrong terminology, there is a cement wall that the liner and coping attach to. That wall is deteriorating. I am not a novice homeowner but have never attempted this type of project.

Do you think removing the coping, removing the damaged portion of the wall and reinstalling liner, coping, etc. is at all dyi project. I have initial quotes of 16k to repair and $26k to trash it a go all new (excluding apron work). Thanks in advance for this and the resource.

I would guess you'd need to be experienced at tile work, but beyond that I don't know.
