First you remove the spring, then you pop out the piece that moves. You shouldn't have to bend the ears to do it, it should have enough give to pop out. Then you put a wrench on the flats of the shaft to hold it while you remove the screw.
Any of you guys do this? Is there a way to remove the screw that mounts the switch to the shaft WITHOUT bending back the ears that hold the contact? That is a hard screw to get to. Thanks.
