    Default Cloudy Water

    Help, our water is still really cloudy. Any suggestions?

    no algae

    Your CYA level is very high. Check out this thread

    Your chlorine levels are not high enough for your CYA levels. If the chlorine is not high enough the water can turn cloudy.
    Is your pool plaster, vinyl, or fiberglass and how many gallons.

    It is a 25,000 gal IG vinyl.

    We have been adding extra bleach to it, but apparently not enough.

    Mine is also cloudy. Just came in from shocking for the 2nd time. I hope that tomorrow it will look better! Here's what it looked like 24 hours ago, and now tonight after second shocking

    That is exactly what mine looked like and is looking like right now!! Its a pretty color but cloudy! Let me know what you are doing to get it clear again!

    On the right track--keep going! Lots of chlorine--keep it at shock levels, filter 24/7, brush EVERYDAY and vacuum to waste. You are almost there--couple of days!
