Default Proper way to install liner over top of wall

I had a new 21' round AG installed a couple years. The installer installed the liner up and over the top of the wall to where all the excess liner is exposed on the outside of the pool. The pools installation guide said to tuck the excess liner back up underneath itself and down into the pool behind the liner, this would give me two layers of liner over the top of the wall as aposed to one, and hide the excess.
So should I take the time to pull the top rails off and tuck the excess liner back up under itself or just leave it?
    Thanks,

My first pool years ago, I had the excess on the outside of the pool wall like you did. Not a problem. Since it has been like that for two years, I wouldn't remove all the top rails to hide it now at this point. But, that is just an opinion.
