I am trying to strengthen my bleach. The stuff I get says 3% sodium hypochlorite. I have some shock that says it is 60% chlorine and is in a 10 oz. powder forum. One bag is supposed to clean 12k gallons. I don't want to use that, but I want to put it in water and use it as a bleach. I don't know if it will work of even how much the 60% stuff would take. But if my bleach is only 3% or even the good stuff is 8%, if I were to take 1/4 of the bag which is 2.5 oz. and put it in a gallon of water, what would I have? I really don't know.
