Auto Pilot Digital Purifier % Mysteriously Adjusting

Hello all.

I'm a new pool owner and new to this forum. I have a Pool Pilot Digital SWG and have noticed slight purifier % adjustments since the pool has been open since early May, particularly as the water temp fluctuates. However, just yesterday when I got home from work, the digital panel displayed 80% even though it had been manually set to 40% the day before. I have my pump set to run from noon to midnight. The water temp had increased from ~82F to ~85F between Monday and Tuesday, but would the 3F rise in temp cause the SWG to autoadjust to such an extreme?

That's actually what it does based, in part, on water temp. If you set it when the water is warm to the lower levels, it shouldn't rise so much. PoolSean is better at this stuff than me.

Thanks for the replies. I've seen the purifier % fluctuate up/down before, but never to this extreme where is doubled automatically from 40% to 80%. Just wondering if this is normal behavior since this is the first time the water temp has started to climb (finally!).
