No it does not go bad, but it may absorb water. That will just make it clump and heavier, but it should still be effective.

Hey C.Geek I looked to see how much CH I had in my pool storage, 4lbs from 1 bucket...3 from another and 15 yes 15 lbs from another. Having a sale next Sat. lol Thanks again.. I'll never need anymore haha!
