Default popped backwash hose near end of hose

I just popped the backwash hose ..first time backwashing because i forgot to completely straighten it..but it burst near the end (about 2 feet)..i guess i can cut the end off and reattach it to the filter? or just attach the other end of the hose?

    Welcome to The Forum!!

If we're talking about the blue vinyl hoses, this happens all the time.

Just cut it and reattach and you'll be good to go. (just be careful in the future or you'll eventually end up with only 2' of hose LOL
