I need a new pump for my pool, mine died today (taps softly plays in the back ground). I have an Intex 24'x52" AG pool with a swimpro sw236t sand filter that came from another pool. It takes 250 pounds of sand. I am broke and found a 3/4 hp pump for less than $100. My question is is that enough of a pump to handle the filter and the pool?
