I got an Intex-type frame pool and tried to set it up this weekend. I watched videos, read articles, and all that. Thinking I had enough information, I set the pool up. It is sitting on hard Texas black dirt and grass. As the water got near the top, I noticed it was about 5" out of level. I stopped filling and got back on the internet to see what could be done short of draining it. Some forum answers were to dig below the highest poles and level it that way. Now, it is within 1-1/2 to 2" of being level, but I have waves (wrinkles) in the liner wall above the water where the high poles were. I also have 4 or 5 poles that do not quite touch the ground. I realize I will probably have to drain the pool and do it right. The question I have is if no one uses the pool, can I leave it this way for a few days (until next weekend) and then fix it or is it dangerously close to liner failure?
Thanks.
