Here's the manual for your heater: http://www.hayward-pool.com/pdf/manu...eries-Hxxx.pdf Check pp 15-18, I believe you'll find what you need there.
Hello,
I have a Hayward heater model number H400 installed in 2001. Several years after installation, my dog ripped off the wires that led to the high limit. I can not figure out how to reattach them. There is a red wire, a turquoise wire and a purple wire. I can't trace the purple wire back to anywhere, it just seem to be a lone wire, but the other two wires I can trace back to the inside of the heater. Does anyone know of a wiring diagram available for this heater? I just had a very incompetent "authorized servicer" out to my house, and it was a complete nightmare. He had no idea what he was doing, and thus I still have wires that are unattached. Can anybody help me? Please!!!

Thank you for the reply! I have the manual, in hand, but I can't make sense of those pages. Would you be able to help me translate?
