Thank You Pool Forums
I guess this would be the right place for this.
I just wanted to take a second to thank the pool forum. I am a big believer in thanking people who take the time and deal with the bother to help.
Thanks you for giving me the wisdom to make thoughtful decisions on the purchase and installation on the 24' round (used) AG pool I installed. That have given my family so much enjoyment from.
Thank you for making the complicated dynamics of water treatment mentally digestible for me. For sticking it out when I had trouble understanding certain concepts repeatably asking the same question seeking understanding.
I dont know if I shared or if you all remember WHY I started this quest. It of course was the "Want" of a pool to enjoy on warm summer days. For me it also fulfilled what at least I perceive is a "Need". My 9 year old daughter is Autistic and summers were a real problem for us. She will not tolerate the crowd of the public pools. And could not cope with the noise of the indoor YMCA or Hotel pools. The heat and humidity in Iowa during the summer months made taking her outside to play, problematic. And something care givers avoided. The net result was staying indoors and a accumulation of pent up energy that would display itself as undesired behavior. The purchase and maintenance of a pool where at the time: overwhelming hurdles..
This site is largely responsible allowing me to overcome those issues. Now, I not only have an adequate and functional pool. I have a low cost: guilt free opportunity to enjoy my family. The "special needs" benefits which cannot be explained to someone who does not share our issues. You just have to take my word for it. They are HUGE
There was rarely a day last year we were not in the pool. Many time's in the rain and in the evening. Thanks to you all sacrificing your time and knowledge I plan on more of the same this year. So Rock On Pool Forums.
Sincerely
Bryan
