... and I get a permissions error in trying to do so if I am logged in. I guess I need to wait for my registration to be activated?

Yes, you'll need to wait until Ben completes your registration to post anywhere outside this sub-forum. However, you're welcome to start a new thread here with your response and we can merge it with the thread it belongs to, once your registration has been completed by Ben.
