Default Anyone Ever Used a "Leak Sealer" ?

I'm just about certain I have a leak in my pipes between my skimmer and the pump, underground. Has anyone ever used a Leak Sealer.

    Something like this?

What causes these products to supposedly work?

Well, I was a plumber for ten years and I would seriously doubt it. Can you see the leak? If so, then replumb it, if not, then hook air to it and air test it, with an air compressor you should be able to hear the water and air hissing out of the leak.
