My pool instruction calls for a slab of cement (sidewalk) to be poured each side of the flat pool side but it is unclear if the buttress support post are supposed to be embbed in cement or on top of the ciment.

If anybody has the same type of installation, I would like a picture if possible.

My pool is 15 x 24.
