    Default swimming pool inground

    can I turn all my pool equipment off for 8 days without hurting something

    Yes. You'll need to make sure that you have enough chlorine in the pool to last for that time period. Also, without adequate circulation, you may end up with a little algae but that can easily be taken care of. Make sure your pH is between 7.2-7.8 with 7.4-7.6 being the best for most pools.
