Solar Sun Rings

I am renting a house with a heated inground pool in central florida. I want to use some kind of solar cover to save on heating, but I am worried about the weight and possible move after this year. I saw the solar sun rings online, and wonder if anyone has used them. How do they compare to a full solar blanket?

I don't want to buy a blanket and reel that won't fit any other pool, in case this is only a one-year house, but I want to swim all winter too.
