Quantiy of CYA 14K IG fiberglass pool?????

We are just about done our conversion and I went to pool store today to buy stabilizer. Pool man said 3 lbs. would do for a 14K gallon IG fiberglass pool. Does this sound right? All our other levels are balanced right where they should be and I don't want to add the incorrect amount and ruin our progress. We have not maintained 15ppm overnight yet but probably that will happen tonight as it has been holding well during the day. Any input from all of the "Pool Gods" on this site would be helpful!! LOL
