Storm finally made it up here. Steady soaking rain all day yesterday, with light to moderate winds. Second pass was a different story though. After 6pm, rain started again and came down in buckets. Pool was about 4" low until that came through, is now full. Still going to empty it over the next few days. I've been waiting for the chl to drop before using the water on our parched yard......this should have dropped it enough.

Shouldn't take long for the chlorine to drop--for some reason, hurricane-driven rainstorms seem to carry a good bit of "goo" with them, which is why I usually shock it again after one has come through. And 4" of it should do the trick

Totally unexpected but we were lucky enough to get a soaking rainstorm that isaac's tail spun off and got 4" of rain on Friday. Weird but but the rain was very welcomed!! And I'm glad to hear you all made it ok!
