Yep, was thinking about you just now as I was watching the weather.....I would shock it really well Tuesday night before you go to bed, because who knows what Wed. morning will bring?

I'll be keeping close tabs on it too, since it's still supposed to be tropical storm status by the time it gets to me!

Hopefully Isaac will play nice! We are supposed to be on the dry side here, which is a shame, really could use the rain

LOL! That's for sure! There's never any telling what's gonna happen with these things. Every time you turn around, the forecast changes. Either way, there's no stopping Mother Nature so whatever happens, it's all out of my hands with the storm.
I thought about the shock. I'm gonna give it a real good dose of bleach tomorrow evening and roll with it from there.

If anybody else has any other suggestions, keep'em coming! You never know when something great might pop out!

Also, I'd like to thank everyone that has chimed in on this. It's really great to see the thought that people put into helping others.

If you have a solar cover on the pool, you might want to remove it as it is likely to get torn up. We had a pretty good storm this summer (the derecho that affected much of the eastern U.S. and took our power out for a full week) and during that storm, my solar cover was blown off the pool and ripped some.

No cover so that's a plus, I guess. It has picked up quite a bit in the last hour or so. No rain to speak of but the wind is blowing pretty good. Nothing like Gustav though. That one was a bear!

Getting hammered pretty good now. Wind gusts have to be in the upper 60's or better. Rain falling at a pretty fast rate now also. Funny thing is that everything comes in spurts. It blows and rains real hard for 15-20 minutes and stops for maybe 5-10 and starts all over again.

Janet, y'all getting anything yet? I think it's nearly stalled where it is so it's going to be down here with us for a while still.

Hang in there!! It's not supposed to be here until late tonight into tomorrow, but the majority of it is supposed to get us tomorrow during the day. Just moving my pool furniture, toys, etc out of the way today while it's still nice and sunny

Well, wind is picking up, although it's not supposed to be here for another few hours. Pool is shocked, patio furniture and toys stowed away--now we'll just see how it goes from here. JWhouse, check in when you can....I see it's pretty bad down there.....
