    Default Flow sensor

Hi I just joined the pool forum and went through the new user registration steps.
I do have one question related to SWGC systems. We had one installed a few years ago and the flow sensor keeps breaking (the metal piece snaps off). This seems to happen about once a year. Is this normal? If not, does anyone have any thoughts as to what might be causing that?
