OK - long story here - please bear with me as I truly am a "newbie" and need lots of help! New salt water AG pool put in 1 month ago. Problem with pool place, apparently we are FIRST saltwater customers and he really doesn't have a clue! Anyway, had me add stableizer to the skimmer and broadcast some balancer. Now, 2 days later, my skimmer is not skimming and my jet going into the pool has week output. I think that something is clogged, perhaps with hardened stableizer, but not sure. the pressure went up from the initial 12psi to 18psi - so not too much there. I turned off then pump and took off the lid to the filter(the one that is in the pump, that you clean after you vacuum) to check it. It was clean, but water started gushing from the inside of the pump. I thought that it was coming from the skimmer but checked and the plug was firmly in place. What is the deal? Or, better, HOW DO I FIX IT???? HELP!
