    Default newbie here looking for a winter pool cover

    what do i need to look for to winterize my ag pool? Just planning ahead. I plan on using pool until first week of october hopefully.
    15x30 oval 10.6K gal AG vinyl pool; swcg; hayward s-180t sand filter; hayward ultra - pro lx pump; 10 - 14 hrs; strips right now but i want a k 2006; utility water; summer: solar; winter: none; android phone; PF:11

    There are solid winter covers that keep everything out and there are mesh covers that let water go through so that it does not build up on top. Or, you can leave it uncovered which is what some of us do. There is a sticky at the top of the section on closing up AG pools that might be helpful for you to read. Then, come back if you have more specific questions and someone here will try and help you.
