    Default SWG and pump timer

How do you put a timer on the pump and swg--do you need two timers? Does anyone have suggestions about a good brand for a timer? Dorie

The SWG's main power will run off of the same timer as the pump. It is tied to the same relay. The SWG must only be on when the pump is running, and it should always be on when the pump is running. To control the Cl level you adjust the voltage output of the cell on the SWG control.
Intermatic is the largest manufacturer of pool timers, most builders use their products. (http://www.intermatic.com/?action=div&did=4)

One more thing: If you're considering pool automation at the same time as buying a SWG, a Jandy Purelink PDA system is a pretty good bet.
