Your best bet is probably to call the company that makes it and see if they can tell you anything. Maybe someone here will know something. We'll see.

I have a Robo Kleen sweeper for my above ground pool. When I place it in the pool and turn it on, it will go forward about two feet and then bakward two feet. It does a great job sweeping other than this is as far as it goes.
Any suggestions?

I did and it was useless. They were no help at all. I thought maybe someone else might have experienced the same problem.
Is it getting caught in unevenness in the pool floor? My first Robo-Kleen would get stuck on a ridge that was under one of my Intex donuts. I resolved it by removing the soft (rubber?) "moustaches" that are around the ports on the bottom of the robot.
Is the cord tangled - although I can't imagine that would be the problem with only two feet movement.
My first Robo-Kleen stopped moving completely after 3+ seasons. I replaced it like and kind even though 3 years doesn't seem like much, It saved me a ton of work.
I'm sorry for your trouble and the poor customer service you've suffered.

Thanks for your response.
I don't believe it is getting stuck due to the fact I have moved it different places on the floor of the pool. I made sure the cord was not tangled. I don't know if it has sensors that may be bad or what the problem is.
I appreciate any and all suggestions.
