I have an inground pool with a concrete deck. The junction box for the pool light is located about 4' from the edge and about 8" above the concrete deck which I think is how it's supposed to be. But, it's located about 6' from the diving board which puts it right in the way. Anything that's put there to cover it up looks bad and out of place. I would love to relocate this to under the diving board. Can this be done? Would coverting to low-voltage allow this junction box to be mounted flush instead of 8" above the deck? What is involved with coverting to low voltage? Do you have to buy a kit specifically for the light or niche that I have now? Mine is from the 70's and isn't a major brand. I had a hard time finding a gasket for it last year. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Stacy
