Default Intex Ultraframe 12x24 How Level is Level?

Hi new member here. Just put up the Intex ultraframe 12x24 and it's almost done filling.

I'm seeing that it's not 100% level, but not too far off. It's about '2 liner blocks' off from one side to the other (the long way). Is this cause for concern or is it considered close enough.

I definitely don't want to have to drain and start all over again if I can help it.

Hi thanks for the reply. I am actually using the salt system, so is the bleach still recommended in that case or no?

The liner has blue blocks as a pattern. On one side of the pool the water has filled to the point where there are 4 blocks from the water line to the top, and the other side there are 6 blocks visible. I realize now that this was not the best way to pose the question, so I measured and the difference from one side to the other is about 2 and a half inches. Is this 'close enough'? thanks!

2.5" is stretching it -- so no guarantees. But I think some people have gotten away with it.

With an Intex? 2.5" off? I think you are living very dangerously and risking a collapse, but that's just IMHO.

I went further and measured all around, and it seems that I just have a high corner. the other 3 corners are all within an inch of each other but the one corner is about 2.5.. still cause for alarm? I'm thinking (hoping) that since it's only going to be up for about a month I can level ot that one corner down before next season..

We found that the "block pattern" is not uniform around the pool, so you have to actually measure from the frame of the pool. We have a 16' ultra-frame and are off about 1.5" from one side to the other (in the beginning we thought it was 4" off due to the block pattern until we actually measured it). We also have a couple of "high posts" where the ground did not settle under the legs like it did all the way around the pool. We've been up for a month now without any issues (even with all the kids sitting on and jumping off of the frame daily).

I was "2 liner blocks" off on one side. It was a low side so the water was higher about a quarter the way around the pool. Made me extremely nervous, but everyone that saw it reassured me I'd be fine. Well it rained pretty good last night and those 2 liner blocks disappeared and the water was to the top on that low side. Thankfully we have a sewer type drain in our back yard on that side right in the middle of the low side.

I noticed one leg was trying to kick out to the left (and it did some) because it was up against the sod wall that was left behind when the ground was dug out. So, physics took over since it couldn't kick out straight, it kicked to the left. Then I noticed about 4 legs over (using to judge distance) the wall seemed to be leaning in as in wanting to buckle from the low side of the pool being so heavy and the legs not being able to move. That was it, I started draining and am starting over in the morning! Luckily I have room to move the pool to the left and back some. Not much, but even 2 inches back away from the sod wall should give the legs more adequate room, I hope!

Good luck with yours, I almost convinced myself that there's only a month left so we should be ok. Your's doesn't seem half as bad as mine thou with it being only one corner, but you'll know for sure when your sitting on the outside of the pool and there are people in it and you see the movement of the legs and walls. That's how I determined no way can I take the chance. While my son swam this afternoon, The more movement in the pool the more the leg seemed to shift and the wall leaned in. I also noticed the liner was bulging at the bottom (outside of the pool) on that low side and the seam was no longer at the bottom of that wall but seemed to be moving towards the middle.
