    Question Repainting gunite pool

    hello all
new to forum and new to pool ownership.

i am getting ready to repaint my gunite pool it was painted with epoxy paint by previous owner (epoxy paint brand ?). pool is around 10 yrs old

my question is does anyone recomend or not recomend any certian product.
    i am concidering:
1.Olympic gunzite primer with zeron epoxy paint
    2.Ramuc
    3.National
    4.UltraGuard

i have been pressure washing the old paint for days with still more to go. i have some pits in the gunite that must be filled (any recommendation or tips for this to would be great). i know i need to acid wash and clean with tsp. what do i do with the used acid.

    other pool projects
pool deck has settled and i have tile falling off and a gap between the cantilever ledge and the top of the pool. i am getting quotes for this repair.

i am trying to get the pool swimmable before the heat gets here.

any comments or suggestion or recommendation are greatly Appreciated.

    thanks i advance
    ken

all i can say to you is don't paint your pool, it becomes costly in the end because you just continue to spend time and money year after year which will eventually add up to more then a plaster job would. If you carefully maintain and service your pool you can get as much as 20 years out of the plaster. Plus sandblasting is one disgusting job, dust everywhere and blackbeauty, its not a pretty sight. I hope you do consider this
