    Default SWG and warm water..

Living in Arizona, my water gets quiet warm mid summer.. Will this limit my SWG from prodcuing enough chlorine?

Anyone have experince with issues due to the warm water temps?

Autopilot claims their unit works up to 104 degrees. I have an aquarite system that worked well last year despite water temps in the low 90s (Ugh). I will be trying a fountain at night to cool the water this summer.

There should be no problem, provided you keep the CYA at 50 - 60 ppm.

When you try the fountain, keep an eye on your TA in case it starts to drop, if the pH is at 7.2 - 7.4.

    Hope this helps.

Chlorine production is a function of water temperature and salt level. Higher salt = more chlorine production. Higher temperature = more chlorine production.
