Question about CYA, new to pools

Hi all, We have put in a new 24 foot round AG pool about 2 weeks ago. So far water has been sparkling but I'm afraid that is not going to last as I'm having problems keeping FC and CYA in pool. Added 1# stabilizer 2 weeks ago and another #1 last Thursday. Still measuring 0. These are my test results from today with taylor 2006.

CC 0.2
PH 7.4
Alk 120
Cal hardness 111
CYA 0, (black dot never went away)
So I have been adding 6% bleach nightly to 6ppm but 24 hours later its back to 0.2. Why do I not have CYA in my pool?

If you have only put in 2 lbs. of stabilizer, that will only take you to a CYA reading of about 20ppm. The test cannot distinguish values below 30. Go ahead and add 2 more lbs. That should take you to around 40ppm of CYA which would be a good level. Once it has had time to dissolve completely, you should be able to add bleach in the evenings only and have it last until the next evening. But, until that time, you're probably going to need to test and add bleach morning and evening.
