New here - intex

Hi

I’m new here and have an intex 12’ x 36” pool. I just came across this site. I don’t have very much knowledge on treating pools. This is the 2nd time we have filled the pool. First time it got all green. So now I went and spent lots of $$ on chemicals. Currently, I have chlorine tablets in a feeder and I’m trying to get the chlorine up. The tablets don’t seem to be raising the levels. What do I need to do next??

Do yourself a favor and log out of the forum, then go to the forum main page. Look at the second set of threads, for the one called "Pool chemistry for Intex-type pools". Open that, then look at the second sticky, called "Super simple pool chemistry recipe for INtex-type pools". Read through that, and it should answer all of your questions. But if it does not, or you need explanations for something, please come back and post, and we'll try to help from there.
