I need help!

I purchased a 15 x 42 inch easy set up intex pool and I bought a hth starter kit but tried reading the directions and still am VERY lost, I have read other posts but still have no clue even where to start, test water first?
The starter kit came is the 3 in 1 with 10 testing strips, should I use this or where should I go from now??

Have you seen this Stickie: http://www.poolforum.com/pf2/showthr...p-routine-care. ? It will probably answer many of the questions you have and get you started with your new pool.

So, Dezzie007, to find the thread Anna was trying to direct you to, first you'll have to log out and then go to the sub-forum called "Pool Chemistry for Intex-type Pools" and look for the stickied thread near the top for the "recipe" for start up.
