In Arizona, the answer is different then in Louisiana. Scorpchic, I looked up your weather report (weather.gov) -- dewpoint temps have been 65 or below for you for at least the last week. That means evaporative cooling will work. One way, is to connect a fountain or something similar to your pool, to spray water in the air AT NIGHT. You want LARGE drops, so the droplets cool off, and fall back into the water.
In Louisana, dewpoints have been in the mid 70's, so evaporation won't help. You DO want small droplets, since the droplet have to be cooled by convection/conduction, rather than by evaporation. But, again, a night time spray would help.
