I can't help you with a recommendation for an inground vacuum, but we can help you keep from getting algae all the time. Why don't you start a thread in the algae forum and give us some current water testing results taken with a drops-based kit (no test strips). Also, tell us exactly what all you have added to the pool meaning ingredients and not just 'shock.' Then, we'll try and help you figure out why you keep getting algae. (And, hopefully someone will come along with a vac suggestion for you as well.)
