    Default Confused about DE filters

Im confused. My new Haywood Perflex Filter EC40C91S says 'when the pressure rises 7-10 psi above the precoat pressure, regenerate the filter'"Cleaning is necessary when the gauge rises more than 10 psi in 24 hours"
My filter started at about 9,10 and after 2 weeks is up to 12. Should I do the bumping the handle thing then now??? I think I may have started with a little less than the DE I was supposed to.
Perhaps I should just leave well enough alone.. It is running good. So how high till I 'bump"????
15' round 5.7K gal AG vinyl pool; Bleach; Haywood DE filter; Haywood 1 1/4 pump; 4-12 hrs; Taylor K-2006 Tester; utility water; summer: solar; winter: Not bought yet; ; PF:21??

As far as I know, you can use the bump handle anytime you want, without worry. I think by cleaning they mean actually flushing the filter and putting in new DE. But bumping? Anytime!
While I don't have a DE filter, my dad did on their pool and bumping was no big deal.
