    Default Plaster pool stain removal

We have quite a bit of staining in our pool. Mostly around the first 12 to 18 inches below the tile line and the steps into the pool. We have scrubbed and scrubbed, brushed and brushed, used wet sandpaper and chemicals but have little to no success in removing the stains. The chemistry of the pool is always very good. I intend to gently try a pumice stone on a small area tomorrow. Would using a pressure washer (gently so as not to eat through the plaster) do the trick? Thoughts, opinions or proven solutions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Mark

+ Equipment questions can be hard to answer, without exact information. By far the easiest way for you to give us exact info, is with pictures. Try to get BOTH overall shots, and details. If possible include an *in-focus* photos of all equipment labels. You can either mail the pictures to poolforum@gmail.com OR post them directly using the [IMG][/IMG] tags to show the image on Photobucket, Webshots, Picasa, Flickr, or other non-porn photo host.

Pictures of the plaster would help. Color and detailed stain description would, as well. SPECIFIC info about your test results AS WELL AS your test method, would also be relevant.
