Unhappy chlorine generator reading low salt

I am a new pool owner.

3 weeks ago I put in a 24' above ground pool with the goldline aqua trol. Its now reading low salt and won't generate choline. Its reading 2600 but I had the water tested and its at 3000. I took off the cell and its completely clean. Called the pool company and they told me to call hayward and I've been on hold for hours.

I also tried the recalibration. Still reads low.

    Anyone have any clue?

Add salt. You need to satisfy the SWCG's sensor not some external test even if it is more accurate.

Add bleach. If your SWCG is offline, it's not adding chlorine to your pool. No chlorine - swampy pool. How long has the SWCG been off? Do you know if you have any chlorine in the pool now? Let us know and how you know. If no or low, add bleach before you go get salt.
