    Default Aqualink RS all controller

My aqualink Controller has started to turn on the polaris booster pump randomly and outside the programming time. When it turns on the booster pump the main pump also turns on. I have checked the programming and the time and they are fine. I can switch both off by just pressing the button on the qualink controller that controllers the polaris pump. Any ideas whats going on. Going on vacation soon and dread to see my electricity bill when I return.

Hi and welcome to the Pool Forum. Sorry that I can't help with this question, but hopefully someone will come along who maybe can give you some advice. Just wanted to pop in and let you know that your post had been read and that you weren't being ignored!

A new poster in the pool biz (who is now restricted to the pool biz only ghetto on the forum) claimed this problem is often caused by a spa side control . . . if you have one. No idea if he's right or not -- all I know about him is that he can't read and follow instructions -- but it wouldn't be hard to check.

Otherwise, a call to Hayward is probably in order -- 888-Hayward.

    Good luck.

I disconnected the poolside remote and it seems to be working again. Now need to look at the repairing the button.
    Thanks for the help.
