Low Pressure reading

Pressure has been steady at 20, backwashed filter last night and ran some to waste to lower water level. Now pressure is reading 10 or less. Replaced pressure gauge, thinking it might be that, but the pressure still reads around 10. Flow into pump skimmer appears normal; flow from returns into pool seems normal. Any ideas?

I'm not sure what you're asking? If your filter pressure is steady, and dropped when you backwashed the filter, then I don't see a problem with it...

Except the pressure is/was significantly lower than it had been 20 minutes before. I ended up remembering a post from this forum a year or so ago which said to check the pump impeller which we did. That was the problem - cleared it out and pressure is now reading 20 again.
