    Talking Pool Post "Sprung" Up

Hello PoolForum, I've come with a rather awkward question.

A few days ago we came home to look at our beautiful above-ground pool to see that one of the posts have literally "sprung" up while we were away.. The only way I can explain is via pictures, so here you go.

We tried hammering it down, but it was unsuccessful. What would you say is the best method to fixing this problem?

Thank you very much in advanced.

OOPS! That doesn't look too good! I'm going to ask one of our installer members to take a look for you to see if he has any advice that might help.

    Welcome to the Pool Forum!

Thank you very much! I've posted around several parts of the internet and I'd like to get all the advice I can before taking any action that may cause even more damage. Thank you very much.

He's a pretty busy guy this time a year and not on the forum as much as some of us, but I've emailed him the URL of this thread so that the next time he does pop on here, he'll know you need some advice. So, sit tight and hopefully it won't be long til he's online.

    Welcome to The Forum!

    Thank You for the pics!!

It looks like something 'heaved' the upright in the pic, but I can't think of what might do that.

Can you remove the gravel from around it and take another pic or 2? FWIW, it doesn't look like any catastrophic damage was done ... but getting that post back down might be a bit of work.

I'm sorry that I can't guarantee that I'll be here every day, but I'll keep an eye out for your response.
