Poolrite Skimmer/ Basket

Have you tried taking the old basket into your local mom n' pop pool store? You might be surprised at the selection some of those places carry....

I have...no luck. The measurements are unusual 9" at the top, 8" long, 6 1/2" at the bottom.

I had that problem one time, couldn't find a skimmer basket to replace the one that was broken. Just had to buy the one that came the closest to fitting it. I just had to wrap some black electrical tape around the rim to make it sit down better in the skimmer. Wasn't pretty, but..... who cares? It was a skimmer basket. Yes...I think that is where we are at...going to have to rig something up. So glad I found this forum.
