Default Old plastic water outlets and skimmer are old and ugly (yellowish)

My pool is 7 years old, inground with liner. Water is perfect. My plastic outlets and skimmer are old and ugly. How can I get them looking new again? Are they difficult to replace? Thanks in advance

Sorry, not plastic, PVC. I'm talking about the water jets and skimmer (square plate) that is inside the pool. The look brownish in color. Is this normal? How can I fix?

You might get a better response by posting this in the stains section of the forum. I have this issue with my pool. In my case, it's due to high iron content from well water. I put a handful of vitamin C tablets in a sock and use it to clean the steps, returns, skimmer, light bezel, etc. The vitamin C quickly removes the iron stains. Your staining may be caused by something else, but it's cheap and easy to give this a try. If you find it is due to iron, there are several good sequestrants you can use to help keep the iron suspended in the water. I use Jack's Magic Purple Stuff since I have a salt chlorine generator.

    Good luck!
