Pool Skimmer Blockage

We have an interesting problem. We have a small pool with one skimmer. When we have a pool party, someone always backs up to the skimmer, blocking the water flow and shutting down the pump. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how/what we can use to alert the pool going that they are blocking the skimmer? Thanks.

Why not just ask them ahead of time to avoid standing in front of it?
