Baking soda will raise your Alkalinity. Borax will raise your ph. There is no grocery store product to use for calcium. What kind of pool do you have? If you have a vinyl liner or fiberglass without a heater you don't need calcium.

Dow Chemicals DowFlake de icer is one of the two products that they recommend for pool/spa use on their website
