Testing for metals?

Is there a recommended test kit that will test for metals? Think our well water has metals in it and would like to know and test pool once in a while to see if I need to get rid of metals. Or is it better to have this testing done at the pool store, can't believe I actually typed that out loud.

Hi, I have no idea why I'm just seeing this post now--sorry!!! There are metal test kits that you can get, but they are expensive--and you really only need the test once to test your fill water. So...that's something I'd ask the pool store to test for. Just smile and tell 'em you have all that stuff at home when they start trying to sell you a bunch of stuff
