Default New-ish pool owner doing homework...

I actually just came to the forum to poke around and do some research, so I don't have a specific question this evening. This is my second full season in a new house with a 20'x40' in-ground pool. It currently doesn't have a heater and at some point we'd like to add one. It's going to need a new liner also. Additionally, it has two Fiberstars little towers that we can't seem to get to work. We've asked the pool company that has serviced it since the previous owners about the Fiberstars lights and they gave us a new bulb to try. No luck. So I'm really just doing some investigation and trying to get up to speed on being a good in-ground pool owner.

Kudos to you for doing your homework ahead of time, instead of waiting until there's a problem that needs to be solved "right now". If we can help, feel free to post whatever questions you have....welcome to the forum!

Use the google search in the bottom of Janet's signature instead of the forum software search feature. It works a lot better than the VBulletin one.
