    Default Pump Pressure

We have 40,000 gallon pool and for many seasons the pressure gage on our pump has read at 18 but the pool company said we needed a new one and after they've installed it the pressure has been averaging out at about 10. Dose that effect the over all flow and circulation of your pool at all when the pressure is much lower?

Are you sure that the pressure is lower than before, and that the gauge just isn't calibrated differently?
