We don't know exactly what's in Super Sequest (so, we'd never recommend it, since we try to keep people away from 'voodoo' chemicals) but odds are you don't need to wait. However, if you do, there will be a notice to that effect on the label.

However, if it's granular -- it might not be completely safe. Some of the granular products sold by some companies for stain control are not very compatible with chlorine, and can break down in some fairly nasty ways, as chlorine destroys them. And, there aren't warning about that. However, since we don't know what is in your product, we can't say.

Do you have ANY test numbers on your pool? How long ago was it filled? 1 gallon of regular UltraBleach (6%) will raise your chlorine level to 12ppm...enough to shock it if you don't have stabilizer yet in the water. If you have a little OTO/pH test kit, use it and tell us what it says. Watermom figured out that Super Sequest is for metals in the water but WHICH sequestrant it is we don't know. Sequestrant is ONLY for a metals problem--I've never had to use it.

That "chemical schedule" sounds very much like a schedule to move money from YOUR pocket to the pool store's. We may well be able to simplify and "cheapify" your pool care schedule.
