    Skimmer socks in your skimmer are a cheap and easy solution to pollen in the water. You can find them at Walmart and most pool stores. If I am not mistaken mustard algae will collect on the bottom of the pool and not float on the surface and the "yellow' products can create a whole set of problems of their own once you use them.
    Also, instead of superchlorinating with your SWG it is better and faster to use bleach. Salt cells are rated in hours of use and running the cell at full power for the usualy 24 hours a superchlorinate cycle takes will shorten the cell life. Bleach is a LOT cheaper than replacing a salt cell early!
